A Snowy Morning

For Christmas Evening, I picked a nice wintry scene. I tried to find one from Christmas – but can you believe I’ve got nothing better than a snapshot from any of our Christmas gatherings? I’m apparently too busy focusing on the revelry.
This picture was taken on my way to work one wintry morning. I had a brand new ultraportable digital point-n-shoot (The original Olympus Digital Stylus) in my pocket – so I pulled it out and captured this scene. To me, it looks very peaceful – but in reality it was a weekday morning in the middle of the city.

I love how you can still see just a few of the fall leaves left on the tree.
