Hungarian Fruit Market

Powered By SmugWP

On our last morning in Budapest, we finally made it to the big central market (Nagy Vasarcsarnok).  All the meat, vegetable, fruit and bread stands were a colorful assault on the eyes – and the stomach since we didn’t have breakfast yet.  The fish stands in the basement were an assault on the nose – so we didn’t spend much time there.

I think this is my favorite. I don’t think it is the color. Maybe the aperture choice. I like how in this case you have so much to look at. The fact that you can see every tile on the wall, each slat for the baskets, etc. Great photos throughout the site.

Thanks, Bill.. I appreciate the feedback. There is so much visual interest there. I could have sharpened it more if I would have had a tripod – but when you are touring, it’s not like you are going to lug that along.

    Thanks for reading!
