Lair of the Hawaiian Minotaur

I’m really not sure what the story is here. I’m sure in a few years when it grows up nice and tall, it’ll be the perfect place to house a Hawaiian Minotaur. This picture was taken only a few hundred feed from the Dragon’s Teeth (featured a couple of days ago) near Lahaina on Maui. I had just completed the shot of the Dragon’s Teeth when I was dodging golf balls from the first golfers of the day. This made me take the long way around – and I found this.
This is another high dynamic range (HDR) image made by combining three different exposures.
Vital Stats: Canon 40D w/Canon 10-22mm, ISO 100, f/22, 1/6 sec +/- 1 stop

I absolutely love this one – just a sick composition and the processing is an A+ – sweet on the gray background too. Cheers.
